2017 Volkl Kendo Skis w/ Bindings

The new Volkl Kendo skis and bindings are back this year with a new improved design from last season. Volkl decided to change the Kendo skis this season for the best, now with a bit wider waist, early taper in the tip, and the addition of Tip and Tail Rocker, the new Kendo has been collecting many awards. These skis are coming off of a super reputable performance as a front side performer, and have now stepped it up even a bit more. These new skis include a carefully thought out design and construction that has allowed the Kendo to maintain a super playful soft snow performance, as well as undeniable superior edge hold for the firm conditions. Volkl has perfectly designed the Kendo as the perfect mid-fat all-mountain option for Advanced to Expert skiers that want to ski the whole mountain with confidence. When you want to go for an off-piste adventure, your new Kendo skis with a wider waist width at 90mm are there for you. The new wider platform will provide the float you need to enjoy the fresh snow off-trail. These skis are sure to float through the soft broken snow without a problem. The new Volkl Kendo skis and bindings are sure to keep you on the mountain enjoying every turn, from the first chair to the last of the day!

  1. Best ski Review by Lance

I ski all terrain and these skis adapt to everything. Crushed Stowe last week , no problem on ice. Just cranked the earbuds , rocked with Van Halen, wore my Go Trump cap , and ski’d like a champ. Thanks ! (Posted on 2/14/2018)

  2. Forward Pressure Review by SkiEssentials

    Hi T-Butch!

Thanks for the review! Glad you're loving your Kendos.

**We just wanted to add that that's not always the case with forward pressure. It might happen like that, but you still should have your forward pressure set, have your DIN set, and have your bindings torque tested before skiing**

  3. Incredible Ski Package Review by T-Butch

I've rented a variety of skis over the past 2 years from Rossignol (Experience 84 & Egde 160"), Head (Supreme Instinct & Rev 85 Pro), Fischer Pro Mountain 80 XTR, Atomic Backland and the Volkl Kendo 163". When I came across the Kendos in Park City, UT, I fell in love with them. While they are only 90 underfoot and not necessarily deep powder skis, I have never felt more comfortable on a set of skis going on and off groomers into a little bit of powder. I'm 5'9", 165 lbs and the 163"s with the Attack 13 bindings handle incredibly. Another perk is that when you enter your boot size when ordering from here, the binding's forward pressure was already set perfectly for my boot so that only the DINs had to be adjusted. I couldn't be happier with this set-up! (Posted on 1/22/2018)
