2018 Rossignol Evo OT 65 Skis with Control Step In Bindings
The Rossignol Evo OT 65 Skis blend the world of on trail and backcountry touring XC skiing. It uses wider overall dimensions compared to most XC classic skis, but is narrow enough to be used in groomed classic tracks as well. It has a waxless Positrack base that has excellent grip for climbing and also has great glide for going back downhill. The partial metal edges add in some stability and increased versatility for use off trail. They give the ski a distinct feel of control for both uphills and downhills. They also just make the ski feel more predictable during descents and provide an overall safer skiing experience. The ski is designed to be skied in slightly shorter lengths than normal thanks to the wider overall dimensions. This increases maneuverability and ease of use, but retains the surface area required to feel relatively stable in soft snow.
