11 Ways to Get Through Summer // Helpful Ski Hints
First things first. If you don’t Mountain Bike- don’t get mad at your friends who do. Pick up a warmer weather hobby to keep yourself entertained. Bonus points if it involves exercise that’ll keep you in shape for next season.
Wax and prepare your skis for summer storage.
Wash and re-waterproof your ski clothing- it gets dirty and smelly in the winter, you will want to look fresh when it begins to snow again.
Start shopping for new ski gear- everyone knows all the great deals are going on now. It’s ok, to buy new skis, boots, and ski apparel in the summer.
Start watching ALL of your favorite ski movies and when those run out just watch any movie with snow in it.
Place all of your ski gear in one place so you don’t have to search for it beginning in the fall.
When July comes around you might really be thinking, "Christmas in July," which leads you to think, "Christmas means skiing, snow and winter." Put on ALL of your ski equipment, boots and all. Click into your skis and then pretend you are skiing in your living room or outside on the grass of a ski hill. If you’re really feeling risky, you can even try skiing down the stairs in your home.*

Go to a beach and make a sand snowman and sand snow angels- it’s close enough to the real thing... Except you are in a bathing suit. Or, head down to Peru and do some dune skiing. Either way, just pretend the sand is snow and you'll make it through to winter just fine!
