Gordini Women's GTX Storm Trooper III Mitt
A nice ski mitten for the casual skier, the GTX Storm Trooper Mitt features a Gore-Tex insert for waterproof, windproof, breathable performance. And Lavawool®, which is a proprietary fleecy fabric which combines wool and synthetic fibers for a lining which has the best of both worlds: the extra warmth of wool, and the superior wicking of the synthetic to keep you dryer and warmer even as you're working your way through the bumps. This is not the warmest mitten we offer, it's rated for 20F-32F without a heat pack, but will go comfortably down to 10F with a heat pack. However, that heat pack flexibility does mean that if you're looking for one mitten that will go from the ski slopes to the Nordic trail, from wintery weather into something springier, this glove will go the distance. Enough grip in the palm to make shoveling to the car and cleaning the thing off easy enough, and, happily, your hands will stay dry as you sweep wet snow off your windshield. Winter, what's not to love? But these gloves will keep you comfortable in a wide range of weather conditions through its moisture management, Gore-Tex breathability, and, of course, waterproofing, provided you're willing to pop a heat pack in when the weather turns really cold.
