2017 Volkl Three Skis with Bindings

The Volkl Three ski and binding setup is, far and away, the most ideal setup for bottomless snow conditions. Whether you're standing atop an Alaskan peak, raging Alta's terrain, or taking advantage of a nor'easter at Stowe, the Three is a powder devourer. No matter what the density, amount, or age of the snow, and regardless of terrain, when you point the fully-rockered Three down the fall line, you'll know what the hype is all about. Featuring a massive 135mm waist and an enormous 50.9 meter turn radius, the skier becomes the pilot on these powder wings. They quite literally smooth out anything in front of you and make it feel smooth like glass. The skier is able to dictate the shape, range, and direction of the ski thanks to its fully-rockered shape and its tip and tail taper. The ski goes wherever you point it, even sideways, without hooking up or holding on to the turn. It's incredibly fun to smear the Volkl Three all over the mountain, launching cliffs, poking through trees, and straight-lining wide open bowls. As long as there's a bunch of fresh snow underneath your feet, the Three is an absolute blast. It's a powder beast, a deep snow monster, and quite possible the most exhilarating ride given the appropriate slope and snow conditions. The tapered tips and tails are softer wood than underfoot, so the stability you'll feel is unmistakable. The skier can pretty much do anything he or she wants on this ski: lean forward, lean back, butter some turns, smear a spine, and certainly take advantage of all that the Volkl Three has to offer.
