Elan GSX FIS Skis & WC Plate

The Elan GSX FIS skis with the plate are a high-speed skier's dream come true. For experts and racers who crave top-speeds and maximum velocity, the Elan GSX FIS skis and plate are unflappable at speed and love to be in the trenches carving out some sick turns. When you're standing at the top of the race course, you'll be sure to have a ton of confidence, especially with the wood core and dual-metal laminate. This build is perfect for racing and the fastest possible speeds. Early-morning groomers will be sliced and diced with this ski, and when you let it run, you'll feel the ski almost slow down. Being on skis this solid and damp is a pretty surreal experience, because you know you're going fast, but the skis are so smooth and stable that it feels like you're not moving at all. It's kind of like the airplane effect, when you know you're going 500mph, but it feels like you're sitting still. The RST sidewall construction has a lot to do with this, as it helps transfer the power and energy from the boot to the edge as fast as possible. This leads to a long edge contact from the tip to the tail of the ski. Skiercross skiers, masters racers, and groomer enthusiasts will love the solid and stable nature of the 2018 Elan GSX FIS skis with the plate.

What is the Radius? Why is it not listed?
Question by: Jeff rust on Dec 2, 2021, 5:09 PM
Hi jeff,

This is obviously a left over, older ski that we have at closeout price. Unfortunately, we don't have a turn radius listed for this ski going this far back.

The only thing I could find was the 2019 model turn radius which is as follows: 188 & 193 cm: 30m. Most likely identical or at least very similar to the 2018 model.

Hope this helps.

What’s the turn radius on these boards, looking for something for a beer league racing
Question by: Danny on Mar 16, 2022, 6:46 PM
HI Danny!
We got these on closeout and literally cannot find spex on them in terms of measurements and radius. Even google searches were largely unfruitful. Since they're FIS for 2018, my guess is that they adhere to the GS radius of that year's regulations.
