2019 Liberty Genesis 106 Women's Skis
The 2019 Liberty Genesis 106 women's skis are a must have for advanced lady skiers with a freeride background. Thanks to the shape, profile, and construction, the Liberty Genesis 106 is the ideal tool for ripping around the soft snowfields and blasting through deep snow all over the mountain. With a twin-tip shape, the skis have the ability to travel both backwards and frontwards. If switch skiing isn't your thing, keep in mind that a twin tip also allows the skier to release the turn easier and it gives the ski a more maneuverable character. At 106 mm underfoot, the skis are willing and capable of staying on top of and floating over a whole lot of fresh snow. There's not a ton of tip and tail taper, but the overall rounded shape of the skis creates a playful and surfy feel that advanced powder skiers will love. They've got what Liberty calls Bomb Rocker, and this is a rocker/camber/rocker profile that is best suited for soft snow conditions. The tip and tail rocker allow the skier to initiate and finalize turns super easy, while the camber underfoot is ideal for carving and creating different turn shapes and styles. On steeper, more technical terrain, you'll be glad that you have that underfoot camber to help hold an edge. Made from a combination of bamboo, poplar, and carbon fiber, the construction of the skis is top-notch. They're light, stiff, and stable all at the same time. The Liberty Genesis 106 women's skis are a fantastic choice for upper level skiers who love to play in the deep stuff.
