2019 Blizzard Bodacious Skis with Bindings

In 2009 Blizzard released the Bodacious in collaboration with Arne Backstrom. In 2010 tragedy struck and Arne's life was taken during a freeride ski accident in Peru. To pay homage to the late great skier Blizzard is rereleasing the Bodacious for the 2018 season in its pure, unchanged form. The Bodacious is a burly big mountain freeride ski that should only be skied by aggressive advanced and expert skiers. It has a 118 mm waist width, camber under foot with rockered tips and tails, and two sheets of metal. This creates a super stable platform that can absolutely charge down the steepest, gnarliest lines you can find. The 118 mm waist width with rockered tips and tails provides plenty of float for the deepest of snow, but the Bodacious is more than just a powder ski. The camber under foot and two sheets of metal provide an impressive amount of power and stability and allow you to straight line through chopped up powder and other variable conditions. It's the type of ski that we expect professional big mountain skiers to gravitate towards. The 30.5 m turn radius is another nod to the fact that this is a burly ski that requires at least advanced technique and a relatively strong driver that's not afraid to take charge of a big ski with a lot of metal.
