2020 Kastle TX 90 Skis

The Kastle TX 90 Skis are right in the middle of the line for the best of both touring and downhill performance. These split a very narrow difference between the 82's and the 98's in Kastle's TX line and as a result, they have the most versatility from a shape perspective. Best suited for backcountry and touring skiing, the TX 90 is built with a light weight Karuba wood core. This core is then wrapped in a fiberglass sleeve resulting in snappy, quick, precise, and poppy performance. Kastle then adds an upper and lower laminate featuring fiberglass containing carbon stringers. The carbon adds a good deal of stiffness, especially when running through the fiberglass layer. The combination of these fiberglass and carbon laminates with the wood core create some of the best performance from both an up and downhill perspective. Keeping the weight down at the tips is the hollowtec tip. By removing some mass towards the extremeties of the ski, vibrations are dampened resulting in a smooth and predictable performance. At 90 mm underfoot, we're getting into the wider range of skis, so no matter what the conditions may be, the skis will do a good job staying on top. Deep snow will submerge these a bit but the whole point is the compromise. At 90, and with this build, the skis cut a mean line right down the middle of all alpine, touring, and backcountry skis. They're some of the most versatile adventure skis out there, so if you have the yearning to explore and get out and ski, look no further than the Kastle TX 90 skis.
