Currently skiing on Rossi Sky 7. Absolutely love the ski...how forgiving it is and how nimble it is in the trees, but regret not going with a wider waist ski. Looking for an AT setup (Shift Bindings) on a wider ski. Have been looking at the Sick Day 104, Ripstick 106, Black Ops Sender, Backland 107, Kore 105...or do I look at the Soul 7? Wondering which (or others) would be best and not lose what I love about the Sky 7s. Spend most of my time in Stowe if that helps. Appreciate your thoughts.

What makes the Sky 7 such a fun ski is the maneuverability and nimble feeling provided by the fairly light feel and lots of rocker and early taper. So, best to pick a ski that shares some of those characteristics. I think the best options here would be the Sick Day, Ripstick, or Soul 7. There's certainly no reason not to just get a Soul 7, as you know you already like that feel and overall performance. It's also a good ski for Stowe with our tight trees. Good float and highly maneuverable. The Ripstick would give you a little more edge grip, but I'm not sure what's something you need or want.
