Armada Declivity 102 Ti Skis with Bindings
The Declivity 102 Ti from Armada is a powerful and versatile all-mountain ski that can lay down impressive carving turns on firm snow, and still play around in soft snow too. Armada's new line of directional all-mountain skis have a smooth, dependable feel. Articulated Titanal Banding is a new application of metal in which Armada takes out strips of metal along a longitudinal axis in the forebody of the ski. This allows it to flex more naturally into a turn so you don't feel like you're fighting an overly stiff ski. As your entering and in that turn, an elastic compound positioned where the metal is removed is compressed, storing energy that's released as you transition into the next turn. It has smooth turn initiation, strong edge grip, then a responsive feel out of each turn, which makes it tremendously fun to ski. With the 102 mm waist width and some nice tip rocker, the Declivity 102 Ti can also be a versatile ski. While there's not as much tail rocker as some of Armada's other, more soft now oriented skis, there is enough that the ski doesn't feel catchy if you're trying to smear or pivot turns. The fact that it's relatively lightweight also increases its maneuverability and overall versatility.

The Declivity likes to turn a bit more, while that Daemon is more of a straight-shooter. Similar overall feel, weight, and flotation, but I'd prefer the Declivity in a carved turn and the Daemon in a wide-open space. Have fun!
Both are great one-ski quivers as western daily drivers but I would give the edge to the Armada. Wider waist, better rocker profile, and still has the ability to grip and rip the hard pack when things firm up. And when the snow does come or things get cut up, a much better floater and crud buster with tis wide tip.
Hope this helps!
