Armada Declivity 92 Ti Skis with Bindings

The Declivity 92 Ti is a brand new ski from Armada for the 2020/21 ski season and is designed to deliver powerful, versatile all-mountain performance and precision frontside capabilities. This new line of skis from Armada comes along with some impressive new technology. Most notably, their new Articulated Titanal Banding technique allows for easier, smoother turn initiation while still providing the power, stability, vibration damping, and other benefits of metal. They have cut longitudinal slits into the metal layers in the forebody of the ski that are filled with an elastic compound. The ski will enter a turn more easily, but as you're entering into that turn, it's also building energy in the elastic compound, which releases into a responsive, energetic feel when linking carving turns. While the Declivity 92 Ti excels on firm snow, it's also a versatile all mountain ski thanks to the fact that it's much lighter than most skis with metal in their construction and the EST All Mountain Rocker profile. Slight early taper in the tip is combined with a reasonable amount of tip rocker to give the ski better soft snow performance and more maneuverability when things get deeper. All-mountain skiers who value precision and responsiveness, but don't want to be pigeon-holed to just groomers will fall in love with the Declivity 92 Ti.

Hoping to do some demos this winter. 6 ft 197 lbs advanced skier. Looking for a ski with some versatility, about 65% of my time on the groomers with my wife but get some free days to hit bowls and steep ( mostly Colorado ) Should I try this one, like what I hear and read. Thanks

Hi Dave, the Declivity is an awesome ski and provides a great balance between firm snow performance and soft snow versatility. Armada uses titinal in combination with a wood core to create a very lively feeling ski. Armada now offers this ski in a 102 version which would be another great option for you to look at if you wanted a little bit of added versatility and float without sacrificing firm snow performance. Feel free to give us a call with any questions: 877-812-6710. Thanks. - Matt

Age 60, 210lbs, 6’, advanced skier looking for all mountain with more time on groomers. Loved going fast and stable on my Vokl Kendos ( prior version with 2 full sheets), but just too hard to turn and too much ski on steeper slopes for me. Really enjoy my Nordica Navigators all over now, but the skis jump around a lot when I go faster and would like to find something more stable. Would these be just right? Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Andy,

All-mountain skiers who value precision and responsiveness, but don't want to be pigeon-holed to just groomers will fall in love with the Declivity 92 Ti. The Declivity 92 Ti is powerful, responsive, and precise, yet also more versatile and forgiving than most skis in this width range with this much metal. A fine choice for your needs.
