Atomic Bent Chetler Mini Skis

The Atomic Bent Chetler Mini is for those kids that rip harder than you do (we're talking to you, adults). If you've ever seen Freeskiing Phenom, Kai Jones ski, you'll understand what this ski is capable of. Atomic essentially took one of their most popular freeride skis, the Bent Chetler, and shrunk into a ski that is suitable for younger rippers looking to dominate the freeride scene. Built with a wood core, just like the bigger version this ski provides a nice uniform and responsive flex perfect for freeride skiing. It's soft enough to remain playful, but sturdy enough for fast and aggressive skiing. At 90 millimeters underfoot, this is wider than most junior skis and offers a ton of versatility. It's narrow enough to where it retains good torsional stiffness and can carve powerful turns on groomers, but it's wide enough to provide some float in softer snow. Most kids really don't need anything wider. A bit of tip and tail rocker really make this thing a true all mountain ski, providing plenty of surfyness and maneuverability in soft snow and technical terrain. It's impressive to see how far skis have come over the last couple of decades and it is refreshing to see modern design characteristics trickle down into the design of junior-specific skis. If you want to be the cool parent, getting these skis for your kid will do that for you.
