Atomic Maverick 88 TI Skis with Bindings

For advanced and expert skiers who are looking for a true all-mountain setup, the Atomic Maverick 88 Ti skis with bindings are an awesome choice. Thanks to the shape, profile, and construction of these versatile weapons, the Atomic Maverick 88 Ti is part fighter jet, part cruiser, and all fun. At 88 mm underfoot, the skis have a fair amount of torsional stiffness, allowing them to perform a lot like more on-piste oriented skis while still retaining the width for off-piste adventures. Add to that Atomic's HRZN tip shape, and you've got an 88 that floats a lot better than the shape may indicate. By increasing the surface area on the shovel without adding to the width, Atomic is able to fine-tune the float to carve ratio very much in their favor, depending on which way you're looking at it. Tip and tail rocker add to the ski's floaty ability, and while it's more suited for situations without fresh snow, it's more than happy to be thrown in any and all situations that you may find. From steeps and trees to bumps and groomers, the Atomic Maverick 88 Ti skis with bindings are able to accomplish a lot of good things, and you as the skier, will be the happy beneficiary of all of these qualities. Versatile, fun, and precise, the Atomic Maverick 88 Ti skis with bindings is the ideal setup for advanced and expert skiers looking to dabble in it all.

How does the Maverick 88 compare to the Enforcer 88 and Kendo 88? Thank you.
Question by: Sean Blake on Mar 30, 2021, 4:29 PM
They are all fairly similar as they are designed around the same ski style and terrain type. They all boast great edge hold and are versatile enough to take off piste and into some softer snow. all have comparable edge hold on firm snow, but the MAverick has the longer radius of the three. If you prefer quicker carves, the other two would suite your style better.

I've been skiing on a pair of Atomic Blackeye TI's for several years. Have really enjoyed them. need to be replaced and am wondering if this would be a good option. I mainly ski glades and bumps about 50% of the time, steeper groomers the rest.
Question by: Ed Risley on Sep 8, 2021, 10:00 PM
Hi Ed,

The Atomic Maverick 88 is a great, versatile all-around ski as you have skied them before. It's a great choice for any terrain and conditions on the mountain. It would be a great choice again!

Just got my package in, Skis, boot & bindings and can't wait to to try them out..... Only one thing, I was expecting my bindings to be professionally installed. That's why I bought the boots and wanted the exact tolerances in the install so it'd be one thing less to worry about. You installed them with the last set purchased and even called for verification. What Happened?
