2022 Blizzard Rustler 10 Demo Skis w/ Marker Griffon 13 ID Demo Bindings
Demo skis are used skis that come with demo (adjustable) bindings. These skis have been in our retail store's demo fleet for this winter, and are now available for purchase. Demo skis generally have a range of cosmetic blemishes. Most of these skis grade in the 8 to 10 out of 10 range and are a fantastic value. If the ski doesn't pass our inspection, we will contact you. All demo skis are tuned and waxed prior to shipping.
Blizzard Rustler 10 DEMO Skis w/ Bindings
Blizzard Rustler 10 with bindings is a unique offering in the "all-mountain playful" category because it uses a partial metal laminate that offers a level of stability that many more playful skis on the market lack. At 102-104 millimeters under foot (Depending on the length) the Rustler 10 lives in a sweet spot that big enough to bust through crud and float through powder, but still narrow enough that it's not a chore to toss around an edge all day once things get firm. What Rustlers do best is rip at high speeds, but they pivot easily at lower speeds too, and have tons of energy to pop off any feature you can find on the hill. Rocker in both the tips and the tails makes the skis keen to get sideways and throw up some snow or stop on a dime. Camber underfoot allows the skier to actively engage the sidecut on clean buffed out groomers, finishing turns with commanding power. Blizzard uses what it's calling Carbon Flipcore D.R.T construction, short for Dynamic Release Technology. Though this refers to the entirety of the ski's construction, the titanal laminate design is the defining feature of the construction. D.R.T. Titanal is a metal cutout that spans edge to edge through the center of the ski, tapering to a point through the fore and aft of the ski. The result is a ski that is less demanding in tight terrain with better float and playfulness in powder. Underneath, a compound wood core and two Carbon Fiberglass sheets make the skis feel longitudinally calm at speed without making the torsional stiffness overbearing. There are a lot of skis out there that sell themselves as a quiver of one, but the Blizzard Rustler 10 with bindings just might be the real deal quiver killer.
