Elan Insomnia Lite Ti Women's Skis with Dalbello DS MX 65 W Boots and Poles

The Elan Insomnia ski package comes complete with these amazing skis, bindings, boots and poles so you don't have to worry about piecing together a kit for this season. We'll do the work for you! The Insomnia is a great ski for beginner and intermediate skiers that uses a lot of Elan's modern design features and technology, but in a way that makes the ski approachable for a conservative skier. It uses Amphibio Trueline W technology, which is an asymmetrical design geared specifically towards women. It allows for incredibly smooth and easy turns and actually helps you execute proper technique. We won't go too far into the tech specs of the ski, but the point is they are light, easy to control and would be a great tool for skiers who are looking to progress.

2022 Elan Insomnia Lite Ti Women's Skis w/ Dalbello DS MX 65W Boots and Poles
I tried on a pair of Dalbellos as rentals and the 25 fit perfectly. I'm a size 8 street shoe. What ski size could I order? I am 5'4" and about 110lbs and was aiming for the 158 size, would that be good? I am a total beginner skier.
Question by: Natalie Zamudio on Dec 18, 2021, 6:58 PM
Hello Natalie-

The Size 25 boot does equate to a street shoe women's size of 8 so you have that figured out.

Based on your height, weight and ski ability, go with the 158cm length for your ski.

Hope this helps and think snow!

Is this a good choice for an intermediate to advanced skier?
Question by: Brenna Kelly on Jan 10, 2022, 6:57 PM
Hi Brenna,

This package is geared towards beginners or starting intermediates only.

I would strongly consider this package for intermediate/advanced women skiers:

Twenty years ago I was intermediate but getting back into skiing as a 52 year old. 5’4” 160 lbs. size 6 feet w high arches. Would you recommend this package? Thanks!
Question by: Sarah on Jan 30, 2022, 7:11 AM
HI Sarah!
Yup! I think it's a great option. I'd think the 150 cm length would be a good size, and the boots do have higher insteps to accommodate higher arches. Have fun!

Very new to skiing. I’m 4’11” and 125lbs. Is 144cm too long? The rental I used was 140cm. What size poles should I use? I know I got the 23.5 boots well. Thanks so much.
Question by: Mimi on Feb 19, 2022, 5:39 AM
HI Mimi!
I think that's a fine size. Poles should be 110 cm .

Do you mount bindings for the boot size if a total ski package is purchased?
Question by: Chris on Feb 20, 2022, 8:32 PM
Hi Chris!
We do mount to the boot size on order, but we do not adjust DIN or forward pressure. You still have to get a final safety check at a shop prior to skiing.
