2022 Head Kore 91 Women's Skis w/ Tyrolia Attack 11 GW Bindings
Head Kore 91 Women's Skis with Bindings
The Head Kore 91 skis with bindings is an amazing ski and binding combo designed for advanced to expert women who want a beefy all-mountain setup without all of the weight that usually comes along with a robust construction. The Kore 91 uses a blend of composite materials in its construction to provide similar performance that would be provided by a metal laminate, but in a much lighter fashion. This gives these skis a very unique feel because you feel like there is barely anything on your feet, but you still get a ton of power through the turn. Starting with the core, this ski starts with a Karuba and Poplar wood core which is what gives the ski it's snap. A number of different composite materials get added to the core for improved stability and increased stiffness. These materials include Carbon, Fiberglass, Graphene and Head's new Damping layer which replaces the layer of Koroyd found in previous models. It's a pretty crazy feeling to have something this light on your feet and feel how much power gets generated from the flex o the ski. While they are fairly stiff, their weight and shape make them approachable and they won't punish you for your mistakes. This is provided by the rocker and taper found in both the tips and the tails as they allow the ski to pivot and release quite easy without sacrificing too much by way of edge grip. At 91 millimeters under the boot, these skis are great for someone who spends a good deal of time on the groomed terrain but likes to venture off piste every now and again.
