2022 Head Kore 93 Skis w/ Tyrolia Attack2 14 GW Bindings
Head Kore 93 Skis with Bindings
The Head Kore 93 is an all-mountain specialist for advanced to expert skiers that enjoy shredding everything on the mountain. It carves, it floats and its agile for tight tree lines and bump runs. There isn't much else you could really ask for. It's also very light. This year the Kore 93 along with the rest of the Kore collection comes back with a revamped construction that makes it an even better ski than it was before. Hard to believe, right? This starts with a Karuba and Poplar wood core which is where its snappy and responsive flex comes from. On top of the core are layers of Carbon Fiber, Graphene and Head's new Damping Layer which has effectively replaced the layer of Koroyd seen in previous models. Aside from an updated construction and a graphics refresh, the Kore 93 remains largely the same. A bit of camber underfoot really helps this ski carve on firm snow. The rocker and taper in the tips and tails also add great maneuverability to this ski, making it super easy to handle in choppy or bumpy terrain as well as tight situations. At 93 millimeters underfoot it is perfectly versatile for day-to-day conditions seen at the resort. It would also suffice as a good touring ski due to its weight and moderate waist width. Advanced to expert skiers looking for ultimate versatility in a lightweight package will love the Head Kore 93.

I'd go 177. They're light enough to be a little longer on. Have fun!

Thanks

I think the Kore 93 makes a lot of sense. it's light, fun, and maneuverable, and while it's a bit on the stiffer side, that just translates to better top-end performance. I'd say the 177 in that ski would be a good choice. have fun!

I'd go 170 in that ski unless you know you prefer longer skis, in which case the 177 will be on the slightly long side.

I have Enforcer 94 x 172
Prefer groomers and the challenge of bumps
Steep blacks (telluride plunge / bushwacker eg) aok.
Blue bumps aok - would like to focus here.
Thinking of 88 x 160 ? K2 244 might be too specific. Any suggestions would ve appreciated.
Thank you for your consideration.
Lately, the 2023 Atomic Bent 90 is the best bump ski I've been on with some good versatility as well. Way more well-rounded than the 244, and lighter than a lot of other skis in that zone. I'd also check out the Elan Ripstick 88 for this purpose. You're in a good spot for skis for sure!

I think the Kendo makes a lot of sense. Enforcers are great, a bit on the heavy side, while the Kore is the opposite in terms of lightness. Kendo strikes a nice balance and pretty much makes up an ideal eastern ski for someone of your level.

I'd say the Kore will hold up better. While they're both light, the Kore uses carbon to get its strength while the Sick Day 88 is a bit lighter duty. I'd go 177 in that ski. Have fun!
