2022 Head Oblivion 84 Skis w/ Tyrolia Attack 11 GW Bindings
Head Oblivion 84 Skis with Bindings
The Head Oblivion 84 is a classic park ski designed for high-level freestyle skiers that want the most performance out of their ski. This light, agile and snappy ski is perfect for throwing big jump tricks, technical rails tricks and creative maneuvers like butters presses and more. The Oblivion 84 starts with a laminate wood core which gives the ski a smooth yet snappy flex for those big jump sets or getting onto those tall rails. Head adds in their Independent Suspension System which adds vibration damping and impact absorbing properties giving the ski a smooth and quiet feel as well as a bit of added stability for those big landings or icy pipe walls. Out in the tip and tail of the Oblivion 84, you will find a little bit of early rise. This offers a bit of forgiveness and ease of trick initiation, but it also helps with certain tricks like butters and presses, ensuring that you don't hook an edge on the snow. Head understands the need for some extra durability in a park and pipe ski, so they take things up a notch by using their Tuff Wall, Base and Edge. All their doing is essentially adding a bit of thickness to the sidewall, edge and base material in order to handle the day-to-day abuse of a high-level park rider. The Oblivion 84 is the ski of choice for Head's freestyle athletes, so it certainly passes the performance and durability tests.
