K2 Poacher Skis

Built for the likes of Olympic gold medalist, Joss Christensen and other top Freeskiing athletes like Colby Stevenson, there's no question that the K2 Poacher means business when faced with the world's largest and most progressive freestyle features, but it's shape profile and build actually provide a lot of versatility for skiing the rest of the mountain without holding you back. Using a combination of wood and carbon in the core, you get a ton of power and responsiveness out of this ski which is perfect for stability on big landings, jumping onto high rails and getting a bit of added hang time off big kickers in the park. A fairly symmetrical sidecut and rocker profile offer a balanced feel for big spins as well as setting tricks both switch and forward. Take this ski outside the park and it performs very well in mixed terrain given its width and rocker profile. It's wide enough to float, narrow enough for some nice quick turns and powerful enough to really charge around the whole resort. Don't let its decorated freestyle background fool you. This thing isn't just a one trick pony. Whether you want to dominate the competitive circuit, try your first cork 900, hike the down rail in your home terrain park, or cruise the whole mountain with your buddies be sure to check out the K2 Poacher.
