Line Sick Day 104 Skis
Every now and then, you need to call in a "sick day". You know... those days where there might be some fresh snow on the ground, the sun is out, no wind, and no lift lines? Trust us, you deserve it. The Line Sick Day 104 is a directional all-mountain freeride ski designed to provide the utmost versatility for shredding the entire resort. When most of us think of Line, we think of their twin tips and their heritage as one of the leading freestyle-oriented brands in the industry. The Sick day collection takes that DNA and packs it into a directional ski designed for someone a bit harder charging. With that said, this ski isn't overly demanding by any means. A lot of skiers could get on it and have fun, but it responds well to likes of a more aggressive skier looking to ski fast and go big. The core of the Sick Day 104 is comprised of a lightweight Aspen core as well as Carbon Magic Finger Filaments which add stability and strength to the ski without adding weight. You really do get a perfect blend of lightweight stability with this ski. A Capwall construction is used in the design of the Sick Day 104 which keeps the swingweight down while providing stability where it's needed. A directional shape means that these things are meant to be skied forward but they do have a but if a turned-up tail for ease of edge release when you need to slam on the brakes or slarve your way down a line. At 104 millimeters under the boot, you get a lot of float out of the ski without sacrificing versatility or groomer capabilities. This ski would be a great daily driver for someone who lives in an area that sees consistent snow and generally soft conditions, and it would make a great soft snow ski for someone who doesn't quite get as much snow.
