Volkl Blaze 86 Skis w/ Lange LX90 Boots and Poles

This complete ski package comes equipped with skis, bindings boots and poles. The Volkl Blaze 86 skis are a fantastic all-mountain option for intermediate to advanced skiers that want an easy-going, light, and poppy ski to take them anywhere on the resort. At 86 millimeters under the boot, these aren't the widest skis out there, but they are certainly wider than any frontside carving ski or system ski that you may have been on in the past, and with some rocker and taper, you'll be sure to handle any variable snow and terrain with ease. If you want to get more involved with bumps and trees, this is probably one of the best skis to do that with as they are incredibly maneuverable and forgiving.

  • Sidecut: 129/86/111
  • 3D Radius: 28/15/23 meters at 173 centimeters
  • Core: Hybrid Multilayer wood core
  • Full Sidewall
  • Titanal Binding Platform
  • Rocker Camber Rocker
  • Early Taper
  • Suspension Tip
  • Ability Level: Intermediate to advanced skiers

The Lange LX 90 is a fantastic moderate-flex boot designed for intermediate to advanced skiers that want the perfect blend of comfort and performance. With a flex profile of 90, you'll get some great support and rebound out of this boot while still being able to flex them properly. A 4-buckle design ensures a nice snug fit in all the right areas for the best power transmission from boot to ski. These boots feature a 102-millimeter last in the forefoot which puts them on the wider side of the spectrum which is great for skiers that want some added comfort without sacrificing performance.

  • Flex: 90
  • Width: 102 mm
  • Four Buckles
  • Power Strap
  • Alpine Soles
  • Dual 3D Comfort Liner
  • Ability Level: Intermediate Skiers

Ski Poles:

Included in this package is a pair of ski poles. The exact pair we select will be based on the inventory we have available in your size. We'll do our best to color coordinate your poles with the rest of your package. No matter which pole we choose though, you can expect a high quality, lightweight aluminum ski pole that will work flawlessly with the rest of your package!

I am not entirely positive on my boot size. if the boot doesn't fit properly can I swap it out assuming I haven't actually used it on the mountain?
Question by: Tony on Jan 18, 2022, 4:17 PM
Hi Tony,

Yes, you certainly can as long as it has not been used. (See our Return Policy link at the bottom of our home page)

Best way to figure out your size is go to out home page and scroll down to the bottom and click on our "Sizing Information:" link. You'll see the Alpine ski boot charge which you should use a US sneaker size to determine your boot size.

Hope this helps.

Do the bindings come mounted to the skis?
Question by: Jon on Jan 2, 2022, 4:13 PM
Hi Jon,

Yes, if you purchase the package, we will mount them free of charge. Please make sure to include your boot sole length so we can mount them properly.

Hi, the smallest boot size available here is 26.5, would love to buy this package but any options for smaller boots? Wear a 25-25.5
Question by: Marcos on Jan 13, 2022, 2:21 AM
Hi Marcos,

We really don't stock 25-25.5 boots. We start at 26 and up.

We do offer the the Blaze 86 with bindings which can still purchase from us. Unfortunately, you will have to look elsewhere for a boot.

Question by: Michael on Feb 7, 2022, 11:43 PM
HI Michael!
I'd go 173 for the ski and 50" on the pole. Have fun!

Hi we just purchased a set of ski's for my son. Everything looks awesome and fits. I will purchase some soon after our ski trip. So basically , I have set of 20 yr old Atomic 190's super skinny width. Im looking for Intermediate Ski in length. I'm 6'0 tall 195lbs. So based on the chart I should not be in a 190 I don't think? Suggestions 177? 168? Thanks and pole size?
Thanks Jon
Question by: Jon Ostrowski on Feb 10, 2022, 8:33 PM
HI Jon!
I'd go with the 173 in this package with a 50 inch pole. Have fun!

Hi, I'm an intermediate-advanced skier who is 5'11" and 165lbs. looking at the 166 - would that be appropriate? Also, just want to confirm that these have bindings included.
Question by: eric on Feb 28, 2022, 11:22 PM
HI Eric!
I think you're right on with the sizing, and yes bindings are included!
