There are a few new trends in our lineup of 2017 Skis. Skis are starting to get narrower again. Don't worry; there are still plenty of fat skis on the market. But while rockered fat skis are great for the deep powder, narrower skis just carve better. Skiers have been asking for narrower performance skis for a while and now the manufacturers have answered. On the freeride side, Nordica introduced a 93mm version of its Enforcer 100. Still an awesome freeride ski, the Enforcer 93 gives up a little waist width for some edge to edge quickness making it a more versatile all-mountain performer. Blizzard introduced a whole new frontside lineup for 2017. Their Quattro line is a extensive collection of all-mountain carving skis for all ability levels. What makes the line unique is that at each performance level there's a wide and narrow version of the ski. So Blizzards top of the line carving ski for 2017 comes in two widths, the 72mm waisted Quattro RS and the 84mm waisted Quattro RX. Another notable thing about the RX and the RS is that they some of the only cambered skis on the market outside of the race room. If you're looking for a true expert carving ski, the RX and the RS are unique.
