When placing an order for international delivery, shipping charges will not be reflected in the shopping cart, and will be added separately when we process your order. We will contact you with those charges for your approval. This includes shipments to            Alaska and Hawaii.

Order Processing
Place your order Monday-Friday by 12:00 PM EST and we will make every effort to ship it the same business day. Skis with custom binding mounting may take an extra day. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or US holidays. Please be sure to choose your shipping option accordingly to account for transit times, especially during busy holiday periods. See the map below for a guide based on typical transit times.

We ship most items via UPS or FedEx. Please provide a physical street address, as US and FedEx will not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If you need shipping advice, feel free to contact us and we accommodate you to our best ability. In the case of orders valued over $500.00, a signature is required for delivery. Be sure to ship to an address where someone will be present to accept the delivery.

UPS DOMESTIC GROUND SHIPPING TRANSIT TIMES
Use the key below the map to estimate transit time to your US shipping destination. Transit time is calculated in business days. For example, an order placed on a Thursday afternoon for 2-day transit would actually be shipped on Friday and delivered on Tuesday. Please plan accordingly.

International Shipping
IMPORTANT: International shipments, including shipments to Canada, are subject to duties, taxes, broker fees and custom fees in your country. These fees are ADDITIONAL, they are YOUR responsibility and are not included in the price of an item nor the shipping charges paid to Skiessentials. All customs fees and duties must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. Fees vary by country and your local government determines the customs fees. 

If you choose to abandon your package rather than pay customs duties, we will not issue a refund for your order. Uncollected orders are considered abandoned and will not be returned to Skiessentials.

Under NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) Canadian residents purchasing goods that are not manufactured in North America are required to pay duties dependent on the type of goods. Canadian residents are also required to pay GST (7% currently applies to all purchases) and PST (8% does not apply to businesses). Both duties and taxes are paid on delivery of the package and are not included in the sales price. For more information, contact the Canadian Border Services at 506-636-5064. Brokerage fees are charged by the carrier and are based on the value of the package. Express shipping options typically include the brokerage fee. Standard shipping does not include the brokerage fee, which will be charged at delivery.

Tax
A 6% sales tax on taxable items is currently charged on orders shipping to Vermont addresses only.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY? For your convenience, we offer shipping through either UPS International or USPS Airmail International. What's the difference? Skis and other large items can only be shipped via UPS due to size and weight limits.  UPS costs a bit more but transit time and customs processing is faster. Shipments are also trackable. Transit time is 2-5 business days to get to your country. Allow a little extra time for customs processing. USPS Airmail International is less expensive and is recommended for small items. Packages are not trackable once they leave the US. Transit time to your country is 2-5 business days. Customs processing may take longer with this option. This is not an option for skis and large items. For international orders you must contact us for an accurate shipping quote before you place your order. We will not ship any international orders without confirmation of the shipping charges from the customer. IF YOU ARE ORDERING FROM OUTSIDE THE USA please check with your local customs office to see what additional costs you will be responsible for when importing your Skiessentials package into your country. Those costs will be additional and will be charged by the carrier at delivery. Skiessentials shipping charges do not include any customs duties, fees, brokerage fees, or taxes. WHEN SHIPPING TO CANADA: Brokerage fees are charged by the carrier at delivery when Standard/Ground shipping is selected, and are based on the value of your purchase. Brokerage fees are MINIMAL or INCLUDED for express/expedited shipping.
