2020 Kastle TX 82 Skis

The Kastle TX 82 skis are here to satisfy all of your touring needs. They're on the narrow side in the touring world, but that also means that they're on the light side. This combination equates to speed on the uphills. It's no wonder these skis are recommended by the Austrian mountain guide association. For the best possible blend of uphill ease and downhill performance, the TX 82 is here for it all. Nasty couloirs and steep pitches are no match for the Karuba wood core and the Fiberglass/carbon laminates. Karuba is light and quick, but the fiberglass weave with the carbon stringers makes the skis stiffer and higher-performing. The core is actually wound with a fiberglass sleeve, so it gets 360-degrees of support around the Karuba. Both atop and on the bottom of that core are the two carbon-fiberglass laminates. This makes for a snappy, poppy, and quick ski for any and all rugged conditions. At 82 mm underfoot, they're not the widest touring skis but they are certainly touring skis with a purpose. Whether you're a professional guide or patroller looking for lightweight performance and quick response times or are a dedicated backcountry enthusiast looking for something narrower for cruising uphill and making quick work of tricky terrain, the Kastle TX 82 skis are an ideal choice for all multi-directional skiers. As usual, Kastle's build and finish quality are simply top of the line.
