Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for an exchange or a refund. All returns must be received at our warehouse within 30 days of receipt of goods, based on tracking. Items must be in new condition, with original packaging and all tags attached to qualify for a full refund.

How to Make a Return

To begin a return, please use our return form located at the bottom of this page. If your order arrived in multiple boxes, you will need to complete the form once per box in order to receive a separate return label for each shipment.

Restocking Fees

The following restocking fees may apply if returned items do not meet the criteria above:

  • 50% restocking fee for items returned in used or damaged condition.
  • 20% restocking fee for items that come in their own branded box (e.g., shoes, boots, bindings) and are returned without external packaging.
  • 10% restocking fee if tags are missing.
  • 25% restocking fee for new drill-mounted skis.

Returns may be dropped off at either of our retail locations to avoid return shipping costs; however, all returns are processed through SkiEssentials.

We process and refund returns as quickly as possible once they are received.

Holiday Return Policy:

If you place your order between November 1st and December 31st, you have until January 31st to return the product back to SkiEssentials.com. You may exchange your gift for a different size, receive store credit, or we will refund the original credit card or PayPal account used to place the order. All standard fees, stated below, apply.

Sale and Price Drop Policy:

Any Sale or price drop that starts while your order is still in processing will be eligible for the current discounted pricing. If your order has completed and already shipped, discounts cannot be applied retroactively.

Exchanges:

Exchanges may be made within 30 days of receiving your order (based on tracking). To begin an exchange, please submit your request through our returns portal.

Once your exchange is submitted, we will pull the replacement product and wait for your return to arrive at our warehouse. Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, but your exchange item will ship back to you for FREE.

If you need your replacement item sooner, you may place a new order for the desired product. When your original item is received and processed at our facility, we will issue a refund for that returned item.

We strongly recommends shipping your product back using a delivery method that generates a tracking number or delivery receipt. Please keep this number until your refund has been processed.

Return Processing Time:

Once we receives your return, please expect up to two weeks to receive your refund or credit. Your return will be less any shipping charges incurred, if the return label is provided by us. (See below)

Your refund will be given as a credit to your original payment method. If you are returning a product that was given to you as gift, you will receive an in-store credit as your refund. If you are returning a product that was originally purchased using a gift certificate, you will receive in-store credit as your refund.

Damaged or Defective Products:

If there was an error in your shipment, or if you received a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and we will send you the correct product or replacement product at no cost to you, with a prepaid return label to get the damaged or incorrect product back.

Return to Sender:

Packages that are processed by the carrier as returned to sender will be processed as a return. Shipping costs are not refunded. Any additional shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount. If the order qualified for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount.

Late Returns:

We reserve the right to refuse returns or issue a store credit up to the item's purchased price, if returned past 30 days. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping charges of refused late returns.
