Shipping Policy

SkiEssentials.com ships 7 days a week from our warehouse in Stowe, Vermont. We do our best to get your order shipped as timely as possible. Please note that mounting and Phantom treatment can increase the processing time.

All shipments over 2 pounds are typically shipped via FedEx or UPS, and those 2 pounds and under will typically ship via USPS. Signatures can be required, if requested, for shipments sent via UPS and FedEx for orders totaling over $200 and/or deliveries to apartment units. It is in SkiEssentials.com's sole discretion as to which carrier is used in any instance, unless otherwise requested by the customer.

Estimated Ship Times

All orders will ship from Vermont, USA. Delivery arrival times are estimates only and may change based on order volume or weather-related delays. If shipping to the Eastern US, orders typically arrive in 1-3 business days from ship date. For shipments to the Western US, orders will typically arrive in 5-8 business days from the date of shipment.

Shipments are delivered Monday through Friday. Depending on shipping location, Saturday deliveries may be available for expedited orders.

Free Shipping Offer

All orders above $49.00 shipping to the contiguous 48 states will ship for FREE via standard ground delivery. *Shipping costs do apply to overweight items (30lbs and above). Additional fees will apply for all items shipped using expedited delivery methods.

Delivery Options

Most orders can be shipped via Ground, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air. Additional charges apply for any items shipped using expedited delivery methods.

Expedited Orders

Next Day Air & 2nd Day Air orders must be placed by 12 PM EST in order to guarantee delivery time. Next Day Air deliveries are expected to arrive at your door one business day after the date of shipment, and 2nd Day Air deliveries are expected to arrive two full business days after the date of shipment. Weekends and major holidays do not count as a business day. For example, if you place your “Next Day Air” order on Thursday at 3 PM prior to a three-day holiday weekend, your order will not arrive at your door until the following Tuesday.

Outside The Contiguous U.S.

For any order shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, additional shipping charges will apply.

Track My Order

Upon shipment of your order, you will receive an email notifying you of the shipping method, carrier, and the tracking number. You can also log into your account to see tracking information and order updates.

International Shipping

Please note, the shipping cost does not cover any generated Customs duties and taxes. Any duties, fees, and taxes generated by the country's Customs will be the responsibility of the recipient. In certain cases, SkiEssentials.com may request additional shipping charges for packages calculated at the shipping department prior to leaving our facility. If our shipping department finds a significant discrepancy in the actual cost to what was charged, SkiEssentials.com will contact the customer to authorize any additional shipping charges before shipping. If the package is returned to sender due to the recipient's refusal to pay for the duties, taxes or fees, any return shipping charges will be deducted from the refund amount and the initial shipping cost will not be refunded.

International Shipping Options

Expedited and Express shipping methods are shipping speeds for when the package clears Customs at the destination. Shipping time ranges from 3-10 days, depending on location and method. This does not include processing time.

PayPal Shipping Policy

Orders placed with PayPal will be shipped to the PayPal verified address only, even if an alternate address is provided on the order.

Shipping Damages

If your order is broken or damaged, refuse delivery (if possible) or, at a minimum, note such damage on the delivery slip and call Customer Service at 1-877-812-6710. You must save all shipping and merchandise packaging, and pictures might be required.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your order within 24-48 hours of placing your order, only if your order has not been shipped. If you ordered skis that require drill mounting and the skis have been mounted, but not shipped, a 25% restocking fee will be applied to a canceled order. All backorders and preorders may be canceled at any time prior to shipping. No order is deemed canceled until you receive an email from SkiEssentials.com confirming that your order has been cancelled. If you attempt to cancel your order and it has already shipped out, any subsequent return will fall under the SkiEssentials.com Return Policy.

Sales Tax

SkiEssentials.com is required by law to collect sales tax on all orders and will be calculated at checkout.

Damaged Or Missing Parts

If you receive a product that was damaged during shipping or is defective, please contact us immediately by phone or email. A prepaid return label will be provided and a replacement item will be shipped out immediately upon return of the damaged or defective item. The best way to contact us is via email. Email us at [email protected] with subject line URGENT followed by your order number and details and photos about the issue.

Return To Sender

Packages that are processed by the carrier as returned to sender will be processed as a return. Shipping costs are not refunded. Any additional shipping costs will be deducted from the refund amount. If the order qualified for free shipping, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund amount. Re-stocking fees on certain items such as drill-mounted skis or Phantom application will apply.
