Black Crows Corvus

As one of the original ski models from Black Crows, the Corvus has a special place in a lot of skiers' hearts. These things are burly, wide, and a whole lot of fun, you just have to make sure you're in the right conditions and the proper terrain. The steeper, deeper, and crazier, the better. Due to the construction, shape, and profile of the Corvus, advanced and expert skiers will be able to glean the best performance. Starting with a poplar wood core and fiberglass laminates, the Corvus also benefits from double metal laminates that cover the majority of the ski both on top of and below that wood core. With full sidewalls and a semi-cap construction, the Covrus gets a great blend of energy and grip, with nothing to spare on the top end of the performance spectrum. At 107 mm underfoot, these skis are pretty wide and floaty, but the profile takes the hard-charging nature of the ski to the next level. They have a very flat profile to them, from the tips to the tails, with some of the flattest tails on the market today, and that includes race skis. As a result, the straight-shooting personality of the ski really comes through in the flat overall profile. The 188.2 produces a 21-meter turn radius, so it likes to go pretty fast and straight. If you're a fan of hard-charging and don't mind a bit of extra weight or stiffness underfoot, it's likely a good choice to go out and grab a big Corvus from Black Crows.
