2024 Rossignol Sender 104 Ti Skis

2024 ROSSIGNOL SENDER 104 TI SKIS

$799.95

The 2024 Rossignol Sender 104 Ti is a ripping ski that can handle a huge range of terrain and conditions, all while putting a smile on your face. This ski returns unchanged for 2024, so for skiers who loved it last year, or who are looking to get a first try on it this year, all the same properties of the ski carry forward. This ski basically replaced the original Sender ski with not much difference whatsoever. We’re still dealing with the same materials and directional shape, much to the delight of modern freeride skiers who spend most of their time seeking and searching for soft snow and fun terrain. As the mid-width of the Sender Ti models, the 104 is highly versatile, tons of fun, and a complete joy to ski.

Built with a light Paulownia wood core, this ski has an excellent blend of pop and strength. These attributes don’t always go together, and it’s good on Rossignol for making it happen. Paulownia has an amazing blend of energy and agility, making it an ideal choice for this ski. We also get Rossignol’s Titanal Beam, which is more than just a binding plate. It extends into the front and back portions of the ski to dampen vibrations and increase torsional stiffness. In addition, Double LCT stringers of ABS material also help keep the smoothness and predictability of the ski firmly intact. There’s a lot of energy absorption in this ski already, but Rossignol takes it a step further with the implementation of Damp Tech rubber inserts in the tips. This balances the lighter Air Tip usage that we find in this ski, making it feel maneuverable and quiet at the same time. In the 178, we’re looking at 2200 grams per ski, mainly because there’s just a lot of stuff in here.

At 104 mm underfoot in the 178, it’s a pretty wide-bodied ski, especially for how directional it is. It’s got a very flat tail that helps with cutting through adverse conditions, as well as holding on longer in a carved turn format. For such a wide ski, this is an excellent carver with an 18-meter turn radius. There’s some decent tip rocker to go along with a relatively spoony shape, allowing this ski to be a fantastic floater. The blend of flotation and on-trail performance in the Sender 104 Ti is quite impressive. It’s smooth, capable, and easy to ski, offering its services to a pretty wide range of skier.

While intermediates may find it to be on the demanding side, advanced and expert skiers will find a whole lot to like about the 2024 Rossignol Sender 104 Ti. It has the proper balance of materials, technology, and shaping principles that make it a very well-rounded ski for a variety of conditions and terrain. For a 104, it carves like a much narrower ski, while the soft snow performance, including powder, crud, and chop, is smooth and predictable. This is all you could ever ask for in an all-mountain/freeride ski.
