Welcome to our 2026 Alpine Ski Test! This is now our 9th year producing the most comprehensive ski test in the world. Over the year, we tested more than 330 skis from 19 different brands and are now ready to pass the results and findings on to you. Our goal is to provide you with the most accurate feedback across a network of dozens of testers. While our main test occurred over a three-day period in Stowe, Vermont this past March, we also utilize various trips and industry demos throughout the year to accumulate this data. One of the main changes for this year is a spot on the Tester Card to indicate the location, conditions, and terrain of a particular use-case. This will provide additional context into the tester’s overall experience.

Ski testing can be highly subjective. Our testers do a fantastic job of indicating what worked well, or not well, for them, and attempt to avoid objective statements that may not mean the same for one skier as it will another. The best thing that you can do, as a reader or viewer, is identify with a tester, from an age, ability, or size perspective, and find out what they like (or don’t like), and how that could apply to you in simplifying the ski buying process. After all, with over 330 skis, it’s safe to say that there are a lot of options.

Each ski comes with its own writeup, video, and pictures. Read, watch, and view to your heart’s content. Key into specific shapes and sizes to find your best match. Keep in mind shape, construction, and rocker profile. Remember that if you��re looking for a ski, make sure it aligns with the terrain and conditions that you actually ski, not those that you wished you skied.
