2025 JONES STRATOS SNOWBOARD
Though it’s definitely not your first board, and likely not your second, the Jones Stratos makes an excellent third. Sophisticated, stiff, and super directional, the Stratos falls more into the niche category of all-mountain decks. Its distinctively sharp shape and full camber profile are designed to be ridden in deeper snow conditions and serve to elevate performance in powder, slush, and tighter terrain. That’s not to say the Stratos won’t absolutely dominate on groomers, but you’ll have better luck in deeper, more generous snow conditions. As a result, the Stratos does not fall into that one-and-done quiver category, but man does it get close. Powerful, sharp, and aggressive in a wide range of conditions, the Stratos may just be another top contender on the short list of “All-Terrain Vehicles”.

Just like its Flagship counterpart, the Stratos qualifies for the Big Horn series—a lineup that can be identified by a W that accompanies a specific length. Such a width is beneficial for bigger, more aggressive snowboarders who require the extra heft under their feet. Smaller snowboarders will find the traditional lengths to feel just right, ensuring a perfect fit for riders of every size and stature. As for overall performance, the Stratos absolutely rips. As previously stated, it’s definitely more of a niche board, but many snowboarders will find a lot to love within the Stratos’s fierce and unrelenting persona.
