Kids are fun to ski with. I’ve got three young daughters these days, and they all like to ski, but they can certainly be hot or cold with it. They love their little skis, but they certainly get a bit jealous when they see something like these K2 Missy skis with bindings out there on the hill. With a cool shape and nice pink graphics, they are both eye-catching and well-built for these every-so important ski years. I guess as a dad, it’s just as easy for me to get them the standard lease package, but if I were to buy something for them, you’d better believe it would be the K2 Missy. Built with a composite core and cap construction, these skis are ready for anything the mountain can throw at them. They’re light and stable and ready to charge. When I was learning to ski, I had long, straight, and fully cambered skis that I probably never had a chance to learn how to carve. These days, the skis are wider (72 mm underfoot for the Missy), and with an 8-meter turn radius. This shape makes it super-easy and fun to learn the proper mechanics of a carved turn. When you see your kids able to carve and turn with direction and purpose, that’s a huge jump in the learn to ski progression. The Catch-Free Rocker profile virtually eliminates edge catching, making your little skier into a more confident athlete, all while making the whole experience a bit easier and more user-friendly.
