Full rocker profile makes for a surfy feel and easy turn initiation for whatever conditions the mountain throws at you.

The Swoon Deacon is made with 100% Solar energy which may not make a difference on how it rides but is definitely something we like. Versatility is a big stand out as well, this board is just at home in the park as it is riding off trail and in deeper snow. Light weight and durable core make for a great value and a board that can hold up for years to come.

Who it's for:

This board is soft enough for beginner riders looking to progress or for a more intermediate level rider looking for an all-mountain board that performs just as good in the park as it does in the resort. Also great for your west coast riders who encounter variable snow conditions daily.

Highlights:

The Highland core, which is a combination of Poplar and Paulownia woods, makes for great durability for the life of the board without sacrificing weight. Although this board is fully rockered and does not have any camber, the Grip Tech contact points provide the edge hold needed for harder packed conditions. The Surfy catch free shape makes it not only maneuverable but also makes it less likely to catch an edge in cruddier chopped up snow.

Things to consider:

Even with the added Grip Tech contact points you do sacrifice some stability when charging down groomers with the lack of camber, especially for your more aggressive riders. The Swoon Deacon has an extruded base which is easy to maintain and repair but will not hold wax as well as a Sintered base.

The Swoon Deacon rides true to size, the full rocker profile makes it feel a little surfier, but you can always size up for more stability if you are an aggressive rider.
