2025 BLIZZARD SHEEVA 10 WOMEN'S SKIS

$799.95

New for 2024, the Blizzard Sheeva 10 gets quite the makeover with a brand-new construction and shape putting it into the spotlight for women’s freeride all-mountain skis made to the construction and shape of the Sheeva has made them more playful all the while maintaining their fantastic on-trail carving capabilities. This balance between playfulness and stability puts the Sheeva 10 right in the sweet spot for many women as they encompass the meaning of what a freeride ski should be. No matter the conditions, the Sheeva 10 is an easy daily driver that delivers performance both on and off trail for aggressive advanced to expert skiers. What separates this ski from the rest is its performance with maximum power without having full sheets of metal in its construction. Instead, Blizzard utilizes a lot of technology within its core and use of titanal and fiberglass to bolster the ski. Either way, the changes made to the Sheeva 10 have make a great ski even better than before!

So, what has changed structurally from 2023 to 2024? Mainly that the D.R.T. Titanal laminate has been redesigned and replaced with the FluxFormTitanal laminate. Instead of a titanal laminate being placed mainly down the center of the ski, FluxForm instead is placed around the perimeter of the ski to increase edge grip while making the extremities of the skis more forgiving and playful. Further adding to this flex pattern is Blizzard’s TrueBlend Freeride Woodcore which is a multi-string lay-up of a beech, poplar, and paulownia. With 8 stringers of beech, 3 of poplar, and 5 of paulownia, the torsional and longitudinal flex of the Sheeva 10 is finely tuned to maximum carving performance as well as off-trail freeride performance. Softer tips and tail allow for smooth turn initiation and release while stiffness underfoot provides stability on firm snow and stability while carving. Altogether, a pair of the Sheeva 10s in the 174cm length comes out to be 3470 grams, which is an ideal weight for maneuverability as well as stability through variable snow.

Slight alterations have been to the profile and sidecut of the Sheeva 9 for 2024. In terms of profile, the tip and tail rocker profiles are going to be extended, making them more maneuverable and smearier than ever before. By doing this, the Sheeva 10 also has increased smoothness when it comes to turn initiation and release. The amount of tip rocker, combined with a progressive sidecut allows for the Sheeva 10 to float in soft snow like a powder ski but also carve like an all-mountain ski. The sidecut consists of 133.5 in the forebody, 102mm at the waist, and 122.5mm in the tail at the 174cm length, which generates a turning radius of 16.5 meters. With dimensions like this, the Sheeva fits perfectly into the all-mountain freeride category where it carves well on trail but also performs extremely well in fresh snow. The turning radius of 16.5 meters is also telling of their maneuverability and variety of turn shapes. For the creative chargers, the Sheeva 10 is unlike the rest.

The 2024 Blizzard Sheeva 10 is for women looking for a strong yet robust freeride all-mountain ski that they can push hard. The changes made to their construction and shape have made a great ski even better with performance increases in both maneuverability, playfulness, and on-piste carving. So, if you are looking for a daily driver that can eat up soft snow as well as groomers alike, you have found your match!
