Why we like it:

The Grom 99 delivers adult-level powder performance in a junior-friendly package, allowing young skiers to experience the same joy as their grown-up counterparts on the deepest days.

Who it's for:

The Grom 99 is perfect for junior skiers who are keen to progress in powder and excel at shredding and slashing through snow. It’s designed for those who can handle and benefit from a high-performing ski, even in challenging conditions.

Highlights:

The ski features DPS’ Hardwood Core, composed of bamboo and poplar, making it lightweight yet energetic and responsive. Dual Triaxial fiberglass laminates add torsional stiffness and snap, while polyurethane sidewalls offer a blend of power and dampness for a balanced ride.

Things to consider:

The Grom 99 packs more advanced features than many other junior skis, which may be challenging for less experienced skiers. However, it’s ideal for more experienced or rapidly advancing juniors who can make the most of its high-performance attributes.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The skis are true to size for junior skiers.
