DESCRIPTION

The 2026 The Curv GT 85 is a frontside carving ski that doesn’t miss out on all-mountain exploring. A sturdy build and wider footprint produce a race like, planted, feel to the Curv GT 86 that will inspire confidence on hard pack as well as soft, chopped up, groomers. Blending the power of a race ski with some all-mountain versatility makes The Curv GT 85 a smooth operator in a variety of snow conditions.

Why we like it:

Incredible on-piste carving performance on firmer than average snow.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers who have had some sort of formal training will access the potential of The Curv GT 86.

Highlights:

The Curv GT 85 starts off with a Beech wood core which provides a dense, solid, stable, and powerful feel to the ski for maximum edge grip and energy. Shaped Ti 0.8 laminates provide loads of vibrations damping to contribute even more stability and smoothness. Underfoot the 85 gets Fiberglass Bridge which bolsters torsional stiffness as well as longitudinal spring for turn release. Shape-wise, The Curv GT 85 has E-Triple Radius which gives the forebody, underfoot, and aft sections of the skis specific turn radii for a variety of turn shapes depending on which section of the ski is being driven. M-Track plates are also incorporated into the ski for optimal smoothness and power transfer. Sandwich Sidewall Construction brings the build together with maximum edge power transfer and durability.

Things to consider:

There is a lot of heft and demand to these skis, so if you do not have a racing background or are newer to skiing, there are other frontside skis that would be a better fit.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Skis true to size. If you are more so in the advanced category, consider sizing down for easier maneuverability with sacrificing stability or power.
