2025 Head Kore 111 Skis

The 2025 Head Kore 111 is a versatile powerhouse designed for advanced riders seeking out deep powder adventures. With a full wood core, this lightweight ski offers remarkable agility and nimbleness for its width. Carbon takes center stage, offering power and stability without the heavy weight of metal, making the Kore 111 a standout choice for skiers seeking a dynamic experience in the backcountry, even when the snow conditions aren’t perfect.

Why we like it:

The Kore 111 is exceptionally fun and floaty in deep powder; what really stands out here is how well it cuts through chop, crud, and chunder.

Who it's for:

Advanced and Expert skiers will get the most performance out of the Kore 111. Here in the East, it takes a special storm to warrant pulling these out, but out West this is a no brainer on a pow day.

Highlights:

What sets the Head Kore 111 apart is its exceptional versatility and performance in deep powder conditions, along with the power and stability to track straight through heavy, chopped up snow. A Poplar and Karuba wood core keeps things feather light, while carbon adds power and stability for smooth turns and reduced chatter without the weight penalty. A healthy dose of tip and tail Rocker works to enhance playfulness for effortless maneuvering in powder.

Things to consider:

Due to its focus on deep snow performance, the Kore 111 doesn’t provide the same level of stability and edge grip on hardpack or groomed trails compared to a more specialized all-mountain ski. The stiffness of the 111’s does require some strength to flex, so if you’re on the lighter side you may find this ski difficult to bend.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These ski true to size. As this is a dedicated powder ski, you can size up for big open applications, or down to maximize maneuverability in tight terrain.
