The 2025 K2 Mindbender 106C with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings delivers some thoughtful updates to reduce weight while maintaining its stability, offering a playful and high-performance all-mountain freeride ski. This model is designed to be nimble, dynamic, and supportive, making it an ideal choice for both soft snow conditions and varied terrain. Whether you're seeking a daily driver for the west or looking for a versatile east coast powder ski, the Mindbender 106C provides excellent performance across the board. We paired the 106C with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Mindbender 106C's versatility and intuitive flex pattern cater to a wide range of skiers. Its design enhances maneuverability, making it suitable for various skiing styles and conditions.

Who it's for:

Advanced to expert skiers looking for a soft snow ski that balances ease of use with robust support for diverse conditions will appreciate the Mindbender 106C. It’s well-suited for those who want a reliable option both in the resort and for off-piste adventures.

Highlights:

The ski features K2’s Aspen Micro Block core, which uses small aspen stringers to deliver stability and a forgiving flex for a balanced performance in deep snow. The Carbon Spectral Braid technology fine-tunes the ski’s flex pattern, providing torsional stiffness in the forebody for precise turn engagement and longitudinal stiffness in the tail for stability and power. Bio-Resin adhesives are employed to minimize environmental impact, and Uni-Directional Flax enhances vibration damping and smoothness in variable snow conditions. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

While the Mindbender 106C excels in maneuverability and quickness, it lacks metal reinforcement, which means skiers seeking the added stability and power of metal should consider the 108Ti. The 106C is better suited for technical terrain and tighter spaces where agility is a priority.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Mindbender 106C skis true to size.
