Why we like it:

We love the versatility and durability of this board. It’s built to last, so you can pass it along to a younger sibling with confidence.

Who it's for:

This setup is perfect for advancing beginners looking for their first board to explore the whole mountain.

Highlights:

An Aspen wood core is the foundation of the K2 Vandal, and provides a smooth flex in a durable package. The addition of biaxial fiberglass provides torsional stiffness for grip on firm snow, yet allows for enough longitudinal flex to facilitate progression. A symmetrical shape that’s flat underfoot with rocker in the tip and tail lends itself to intuitive turning and switch riding. [binding highlights] [boot highlights]

Things to consider:

Groms who have progressed into solid intermediates and beyond may appreciate a board that has a bit higher performance band.
