2025 Rossignol Experience 86 Basalt Women’s Skiswith NX 12 Konect GW Bindings

The 2025 Rossignol Experience 86 Basalt Women’s is a versatile all-mountain ski designed to blend lightweight agility with a smooth, stable ride. At 86 mm underfoot, it’s wide enough for varied conditions while staying quick and precise on groomers. Paired with NX12 Konect bindings, this package offers a confidence-boosting setup ready for everyday skiing.

Why we like it:

It strikes a nice balance between responsiveness and smooth stability; it’s light, forgiving, yet powerful enough for aggressive intermediates and advanced skiers.

Who it's for:

Best suited for intermediate to advanced women skiers who want one ski that can handle groomers, mixed snow, and light off-trail missions. Perfect for skiers who like carving but still want versatility when conditions change.

Highlights:

The paulownia wood core keeps the ski light and maneuverable, while basalt layers absorb vibrations for a smooth, quiet ride. Rossignol’s Drive Tip design enhances turn initiation and control, while the extended sidecut and rectangular sidewall add edge grip and stability at speed. Tip and tail rocker allow for adaptability in variable snow, giving the ski more versatility than a frontside-focused carver.

Things to consider:

While versatile, the Experience 86 Basalt isn’t as powerful as skis with full Titanal laminates. Expert-level skiers looking for maximum dampness and top-end stability may prefer a burlier construction.

Fit & sizing considerations:

This skis true to size. The NX12 Konect bindings provide a secure, integrated system that’s lightweight, safe, and easy to adjust.
