Clocking in at 76mm in the waist with generous camber underfoot and rocker in the opposing ends, the Montero AS falls on the narrowest end of the Montero line and offers an excellent balance between grip, stability, and precision on frontside terrain. Its lack of a racing heritage coupled with its lighter weight gives the Montero AS a decent number of all-mountain capabilities to benefit a wide range of skiers seeking excellent carving performance in varying snow conditions. Built with a balsa and fuma wood core reinforced with titanal, the Montero AS sets forth with a smooth ride that offers quite a bit of rebound to mirror that of a slalom ski. As a result, the Stockli Montero AS DEMO Ski strikes an excellent balance between crispness and cleanliness with a chatter-free ride that rips the entire mountain.
