The 2026 Arbor A-Frame with Ride C-2 Bindings is a freeride powerhouse built for steep descents, surfy float, and clean, locked-in carves. Updated with a dramatic swallowtail silhouette and bolstered by high-end materials, this version of the A-Frame is Arbor’s most directional and aggressive offering to date. Its progressive dual-radius sidecut and directional camber profile make it perfect for riders who carve hard and ride fast, while its stiff flex and precise shape ensure unwavering performance in deep snow or on edge. We paired the board with the C-2 bindings because these well-rounded all-mountain bindings perform well in most conditions or terrain. A moderate flex makes them stiff enough to charge on groomers but not too demanding that you can’t take them in the park. Built with durable material to last season after season making them a great choice to pair with the board.
Why we like it:
We love the A-Frame because it blends freeride function with serious style. It’s the kind of board that turns heads in the lift line and delivers trench-digging turns, deep float, and confidence when it matters most.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert freeriders who prefer purpose-built gear and want a board that thrives in steep, deep, and technical terrain. If you like arcing long turns, charging hard, and maximizing directional performance, this board delivers.
Highlights:
The A-Frame’s swallowtail profile enhances float without compromising grip, and its directional camber with a dual-radius sidecut encourages dynamic, high-speed carving. The RWD Carbon layup and Vector Netting stiffen the ride torsionally, making it razor-sharp on edge while the Highland II core keeps it lively and responsive. The platform is wide and stable, perfect for charging powder fields and laying clean tracks across corduroy. The composite chassis provides durability without excessive weight, while Ride’s cored ankle straps hug the boot securely without pinching. The footbed is canted to reduce fatigue and promote better stance alignment.
Things to consider:
This board isn’t designed for casual laps or switch riding. Its shape and flex reward confident input and speed, so lighter or less aggressive riders may want something more forgiving.
Fit & sizing considerations:
With a long effective edge and directional stance, it rides slightly longer than average. Stick to your usual freeride length unless maneuverability is your top priority.
