The 2026 Armada ARV 94 returns as the classic all-mountain twin, blending freestyle roots with freeride capability. With a 94 mm waist, it offers versatility across varied conditions, from park laps to powder stashes.
Why we like it:
The ARV 94 stands out for its balanced flex and playful nature, making it a reliable choice for skiers who want to put on hot laps through the park and explore the entire mountain with a freestyle flair.
Who it's for:
Ideal for intermediate to expert skiers who appreciate a ski that can handle park features, groomed trails full of side hits and off-piste adventures, offering a responsive and creative experience.
Highlights:
Built with a 100% Poplar Core and Ash Binding Insert, the ARV 94 delivers stability and pop without unnecessary weight. The AR Freestyle Rocker profile, which uses rockered tips and tails combined with positive camber underfoot, ensures surfiness and pop off of transitions. The w3Dgewall sidewall construction enhances durability and edge grip, while the 2.5 Impact Edge and S7 Base provide resilience and speed. The ski's flex profile, with a slightly softer tip and stiffer tail, offers a forgiving yet supportive ride, accommodating both park and all-mountain freeride skiing styles alike.
Things to consider:
While the ARV 94 excels in versatility, its softer tips and tails may feel less stable at high speeds in variable conditions. Due to the nature of these freestyle inspired twins, they are not fondest of firm and icy conditions especially in a carving format, softer or wetter snow is where they shine bright like a diamond.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The ARV 94 is an all-mountain freestyle twin tip that has most of its prowess invested in its park performance. So, skiers who do not spend most of their time in the park or at least trying to make the mountain into a terrain park, would have more success with a more dedicated all-mountain ski like the Armada Declivity 92 Ti or Declivity 88 C.
