DESCRIPTION

The 2026 Armada Declivity X 108 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is built for big lines and bold skiing. Designed for expert-level freeriders, this setup combines a powerful ski with a performance-driven binding to create a hard-charging platform that thrives in steep, variable terrain. With a 108 mm waist, directional shape, and Titanal-reinforced build, the Declivity X 108 offers the confidence to drop into technical zones and stay in control at top speed. We paired the Declivity X 108 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Declivity X 108 has composure under pressure. Whether you're straight-lining a chute or powering through crud at Mach speed, this ski stays calm and collected, all while retaining just enough playfulness to keep things fun when the terrain opens up.

Who it's for:

Ideal for advanced to expert skiers who demand stability and strength in challenging conditions, this ski suits those who want to charge hard, carve deep, and dominate big-mountain environments without compromise.

Highlights:

Featuring a full Poplar Core and ATB-X Titanal layup, the Declivity X 108 delivers a damp, precise feel that inspires confidence in the roughest terrain. Its EST Freeride Rocker combines a rockered tip for float with camber underfoot for edge hold and rebound. AR100 sidewalls maximize torsional stiffness and edge grip, while the 2.1 All Mountain Edge and Comp Series Base offer resilience and speed. The Attack 14 GW’s FR PRO3 Toe contains 30 mm of elastic travel which provides a smooth and confidence inspiring feel when tracking though variable snow while also recentering the boot to its neutral position extremely well to keep you locked in, acting almost like a suspension system. NX FR Heel pieces have 16 mm of elastic travel which assists in prevent false-releases. These heel pieces also make stepping into and out of bindings with ease, even in deep snow.

Things to consider:

This ski’s stiff flex and larger turning radius favor aggressive skiing at higher speeds. If you're often navigating tight trees or prefer a more forgiving ski, there are better options suited to a slower or more nimble approach.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Declivity X 108 skis true to size. Those who are less aggressive or still progressing can consider sizing down for easier maneuverability.

Thoughts
All terrain, I’d ski this thing anywhere.
I would choose this ski for a mid-winter trip out west
Overal Impression
It’s an absolute rocket ship. I was surprised, for how progressive the construction/flex is that it wasn’t more playful. I found they preferred to stick to the ground and just charge. I did not find the speed limit on these skis in soft snow and spring bumps. While they may not have been as playful/springy as I expected, they were incredibly responsive. Overall, a hard charging and confidence inspiring ski.
