DESCRIPTION

The Atomic Hawx Prime 110 BOA is a medium-volume all-mountain boot that swaps the traditional lower buckles for a BOA dial across the forefoot. It pairs a lightweight shell with fully heat-moldable construction, so the fit gets dialed to your foot rather than the other way around. The result is a precise, performance-minded boot that still leans comfortable, aimed at advanced skiers bouncing between groomers, pow, and everything in between.

Why we like it:

The single BOA H+i1 dial over the forefoot is the headliner, giving you even, micro-adjustable wrap across the lower foot without the pressure points two forefoot buckles can leave behind. We're also fans of the Memory Fit shell, which lets a bootfitter heat and customize the shell, cuff, and liner in one shot.

Who it's for:

Built for advanced skiers who want real edge power without committing to a full-on race fit. Medium-volume feet are the sweet spot, the kind that get swallowed up in a wide boot but pinched in a narrow one. If a quick, even closure and a shell molded to your exact shape sound appealing, you're the target buyer.

Highlights:

A single BOA H+i1 dial replaces the two lower buckles and cinches a cable across the forefoot for wrap that's both even and endlessly fine-tunable, while two 6000-series aluminium buckles handle the cuff. Underneath, the Prolite shell keeps weight down by putting material only where it's structurally needed, and Atomic's Memory Fit means the whole thing, shell and cuff included, can be heat-customized to your foot. The Mimic Silver liner heat-molds too and uses an Ankle Lock feature that holds the heel in place for cleaner power transfer. An Energy Backbone runs up the rear of the cuff for rebound and drive, and Dual-Sided Cuff Alignment lets a fitter cant the cuff to match your stance.

Things to consider:

Forward lean is fixed at 15 degrees on this model, so if you want to tune the angle, you may want to look elsewhere. The 110 flex is plenty for most advanced skiers, but true experts who load a boot hard may want a 120 or 130. And while the medium last works for a lot of people, genuinely wide feet will be happier in the Hawx Magna.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Hawx Prime 110 BOA runs on a 100mm medium last, right in the middle of the volume spectrum for an average foot. Since this is a performance-level flex, it's worth booking time with a certified bootfitter to get the heat-mold and any punches dialed in. The BOA forefoot also gives you a bit of on-the-fly wrap adjustment a buckle can't match.
