What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

This ski is on the softer side of the spectrum, which makes it light and easy to maneuver. It performs well on uneven terrain and skis smoothly both forwards and switch. It does not hold an edge as reliably as a stiffer ski, especially in firmer conditions, but overall is a good all mountain twin tip.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

This ski works as a versatile all-mountain option and can also be used in the park, especially if mounted closer to center.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

This ski is appropriate for beginner to intermediate skiers who would like a twin tip. It’s softness and maneuverability make it a great introduction to twin tips and to learning how to ski switch.

Hard to find a prettier ski!

Relaxed these days! I ski a lot with my kiddo and tend to be more mellow than when I was younger, with fewer adventures off trail. I also ski alone a lot so am reluctant to adventure much alone.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

I really wanted to like this ski; I didn’t dislike it, but I found it lacked a little bit in the personality department for me. It had fine edge grip, not great but what you’d expect from a ski with no metal. Everything else was pretty vanilla and unremarkable, but not in a bad way, just in a kinda boring way. Solid but not special.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

This hits squarely in the all mountain freeride category, I’d say it would be best as a daily driver for someone who wants to ski soft groomers and venture into light duty trees. It feels slower edge to edge than I would have expected, so maybe not a top choice for bumps or tight trees.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Intermediates could get on this ski and have fun, it did fine at slower speeds. Advanced and experts would probably get a little more out of this, since it did liven up a touch at higher speeds. It was easy enough to ski and would probably appeal to a broad range of all mountain skiers.

Anything else you want to tell us about your experience on these skis?

It reminded me of the old Blizzards from the 2010 era - not bad, perfectly fine in fact, just not very exciting.

Soft and playful for the top of Perry bumps.

All mountain but preferred on fresh snow with its springy response. They stay stiff enough to get you through the sketchy zones although that isn't their favorite.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

Intermediate or advanced skiers who like to bounce around and explore. The thinner profile helps get you side to side quickly for cruising ease and recovery if needed.

Wish I looked for a couple more things to hop off to further test the playfulness.

What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

Testing this after a classic thaw–refreeze cycle, conditions were firm, icy and unforgiving. In that setting, the ski felt light, quick, and easy to maneuver, with very intuitive turn initiation. It’s a ski that responds well to subtle inputs and doesn’t require much effort to get from edge to edge.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

Even though I skied it on firm/icy groomers, it’s clear that this ski is designed to shine in more forgiving environments where its quickness and ease of pivoting are assets. On ice or very firm snow, it requires a lighter touch.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

This ski is best for intermediate to advanced skiers, depending on style. On firm snow especially, a stronger skier will notice that it doesn’t provide the same platform or edge confidence as a stiffer, more torsionally rigid ski. It’s less about overpowering the ski and more about staying balanced and precise.

A light, playful ski that’s easy to ski and fun in softer conditions but on true hardpack, it rewards a more precise, finesse-driven approach rather than an aggressive one.

I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this ski and I loved how it floated and carved. It carved exceptionally for such a big boy ski. This ski created joy!

Advanced, it’s a big ski and to get on the edges you have to be in control of turning her.
