What's your first impression of this ski? How did it feel?

It felt light and easy to maneuver, which made for a playful ride. While the ski was stable and comfortable at moderate speeds, it didn’t feel especially energetic or quick to exit turns—there was a bit of sluggishness coming out of carves. The length felt appropriate, however I might size down for an intermediate skier, as it might feel like too much of a ski.

For what type of terrain would you recommend this ski? Why does it perform well in that terrain?

It is lightweight, so it was easy to pivot and control. It seems like it could perform well in light powder (although I didn't get to try that given conditions). The conditions today (icy hardpack) were not what most people like or enjoy skiing, but it did perform solidly in these conditions. It handled both short and long turns well, which makes me think it would be a good choice in the bumps and other types of terrain.

What's the appropriate ability level and/or style for this ski? Why is it appropriate for that type of skier?

It is a great ski for intermediate to advanced skiers who want a ski that’s forgiving and easy to handle. It’s not the most powerful or precise option for more aggressive skiers, but it would build confidence in a intermediate to advanced skier!

It’s not a high-speed performance ski, but will help the skier to have a fun day on the snow.

These skis may have been more fun with some powder, or in the woods. They carved ok, but felt a little too light for the hard packed.

These skis were very light, they may suit a smaller person better - or meant for one that’s off piste.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from these, and initially thought they felt heavy, but once they started going fast and making short and medium radius turns it was like, ok this is how they want to ski - buckle up for a fun ride.

I love them, but I am a big Black Crows fan! They are playful, easy to turn, feel solid on icy conditions, yet I know they would be great with some powder, tight trees and fun moguls too.

All terrain, they are fine with icy groomers and I know they would be great with some powder, tight trees and fun moguls too.

Moderate to advanced, they just don't feel like a beginner ski since they are a bit more playful and that may be lost on a beginner.

I love their graphic design, always simple, colorful and bright, which put me in a good mood.

Sturdy and versatile.

Groomers/all mountain. I think this ski would be adequate enough if you dipped into the woods and moguls but you would have much more fun ripping groomers in it.

Intermediate/advanced. This ski is stiffer than some so I think with that you would need to be a confident skier to enjoy it.

Easy turning/schmearing with lots of camber but not as much rebound as I was expecting. Nice to feel an all wood ski though…old school feels!
