2027 Fischer Adventure 56 Crown Cross Country Skiswith Tour Step In Bindings

The 2027 Fischer Adventure 56 Crown Xtralite is a lightweight tour-and-track classic ski designed for mixed-terrain exploration. It pairs a narrow profile with waxless Offtrack Crown grip and a responsive Air Channel core to offer mobility, efficiency, and confidence far from groomed trails.

Why we like it:

It handles packed loops and forest sidetracks with equal ease, stable beneath foot, nimble through tight turns, and comfortable when the trail vanishes.

Who it's for:

Ideal for intermediate recreational skiers who want one ski that performs capably on groomed trails and ventures smoothly into ungroomed terrain.

Highlights:

The Air Channel wood core with hollow fiberglass channels keeps weight low while enhancing stability and edge control across rough snow. The Offtrack Crown fishscale pattern across the base delivers reliable grip uphill and clean glide downhill, removing the hassle of waxing. With a lean 56 mm waist and modest sidecut (around 56/48/54 mm), the ski turns easily in tight terrain without sacrificing tracking or smooth straight-line flow. Speed Grinding 2.0 finish ensures consistent glide no matter the snow temperature.

Things to consider:

This ski prioritizes traction and control over speed. Because it lacks metal edges, handling can be limited in icy or steep terrain. If maximum glide performance or edge hold is your focus, a waxable or edged touring ski might be a better match.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Available in 168, 178, 188, and 198 cm lengths and should be sized base off weight. The built-in IFP binding plate supports Turnamic tools-free adjustment to fine-tune grip or glide feel without remounting.
