2027 Fischer Ranger Skis

The 2027 Fischer Ranger brings the energy of a freeride ski to a more versatile, resort-friendly platform. It’s built for all-mountain performance with a confident, intuitive feel that works equally well on fresh corduroy or a few inches of powder. Quick edge-to-edge and lively underfoot, the Ranger thrives in mixed conditions and makes a strong case as a one-ski quiver for intermediate skiers who want playful versatility without sacrificing precision.

Why we like it:

The 92 mm waist hits a real sweet spot—wide enough to float in soft snow, but narrow enough to stay energetic on firm days. Its balanced flex and intuitive handling make it just as fun for linking groomer arcs as it is for ducking into trees or chasing side hits.

Who it's for:

Ideal for intermediate skiers who want a smooth and responsive ski that doesn’t lock them into one style. Whether you’re building skills across the whole mountain or simply want something that’s light, lively, and capable in changing conditions, the Ranger delivers.

Highlights:

A full poplar wood core is the heart of this ski, giving it a reactive, snappy flex without feeling twitchy. Fischer’s Fiber Tech—a fiberglass laminate layer—adds torsional support to keep things predictable when the snow gets rough or fast. The Freeski Rocker profile offers early rise in the tip and tail for smooth turn initiation and easier pivoting in tight terrain, while the Sandwich Sidewall Construction ensures power transfer and edge grip through the full turn. Combined, the construction creates a ski that’s equal parts approachable and performance-driven.

Things to consider:

While the Ranger 92 is a solid everyday ski for most terrain and conditions, it may not be the best choice for expert skiers who demand maximum power at speed. Similarly, skiers chasing powder days may want something wider if deep snow is the norm.

Fit & sizing considerations:

These skis run true to size. If you're on the lighter side or prefer a playful, nimble feel in the trees, you might consider sizing down slightly. For those who ski fast or prioritize stability, stick to your regular length.
