2027 K2 Omen Jr Junior Skiswith SpeedMachine J Boots and Poles

The 2027 K2 Omen Junior with FTD Junior binding and Nordica SpeedMachine J is a youth-focused freestyle package that brings park performance and twin-tip versatility to the next generation of riders. Modeled after the full-size Omen, it delivers the shape, feel, and spirit of a true freestyle ski in a size designed for juniors. We paired the Omen Jr with the Nordica Speed Machine Jr Boy’s ski boot because it provides young skiers with a solid blend of comfort, support, ad performance which with these skis will propel the development of their skills. Tailored for junior skiers who are progressing quickly, the Speed Machine Jr offers a secure fit with reliable performance no matter the terrain or snow conditions.

Why we like it:

The Omen Junior is one of the few skis truly built for freestyle progression at a youth level. It’s poppy, durable, and playful, giving kids the tools to slide, spin, and send with confidence.

Who it's for:

Perfect for aspiring park skiers and all-mountain tricksters, this package is designed for kids who want to explore creative skiing both in the park and across the resort.

Highlights:

The Omen Junior features an Aspen wood core that keeps the ski light and energetic, ideal for spins, jumps, and side hits. A full-height twin tip paired with K2’s All-Terrain Twin Rocker makes it equally fun for switch skiing and playful lines, while Duracap and Hybritech construction add durability for repeated use and abuse in the terrain park. Its gradual tip and tail rocker, soft flex, and easy maneuverability give lighter skiers the confidence to progress quickly.

Things to consider:

This ski is purpose-built for freestyle and light all-mountain versatility. Juniors seeking directional carving, speed, or race-oriented performance will prefer a more frontside-focused option.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The Omen Junior skis true to size. Shorter lengths are better suited for younger or lighter kids who need easier control, while more confident riders may prefer to size up for stability on jumps and rails. [boot sizing specifics]
